EduVestor: A twofold mission. Helping current and former educators to realize their potential in themselves as real estate agents and investors; and a realty group that helps our clients in real estate education and investing in themselves.

Vision

EduVestor, a division of eXp, wants to bring its knowledge of education into the real estate market of DC and change the lives of all its aspiring home buying and investing clients.

Welcome to EduVestor, my name is Joe Mentzer. I am native Philadelphian who moved to the DMV after graduating from Eastern University in 2015. After beginning my career in education as a Middle School Science Teacher I quickly entered a master’s Program for Educational Leadership & Supervision obtaining a license to become a Principal in the State of Virginia. After four wonderful years teaching in Prince William County Public Schools (Northern VA) I moved to The District of Columbia and began teaching for The District of Columbia Public School system. During the time of virtual learning and stuck at home I began a Doctor of Education in Educational Policy program at Drexel University to be completed in 2023.

It wasn’t until a friend, Shelby Osborne (eXp Realty of Charlotte NC), helped me realize the potential I could have in real estate. She is who motivated me into obtaining my DC Real Estate Salesperson License and helped me join the eXp DC Division. As I enter this new chapter of my life, I am surrounded by very knowledgeable and experienced realtors that will help me succeed and grow.

EduVestor was inspired by the current educator and founder of the team, Joe Mentzer. Joe is an exceeding expectations teacher who always strives to surpass the curriculum and teach his students how to be citizens of the world; educating them on how to be a productive individual and find their passion for science. Fast-forward 7 years and he found himself falling in love with real estate and following a new path with his knowledge of teaching. Teaching First Time Homebuyers and Investors the key to secure their dream properties. This team was formed to step away from the education world and allow us to teach others how to not only invest in real estate but themselves. EduVestor, as a team, is here to help you in every step of the way!

As the team grows so does its need for additional team members. EduVestor, although not exclusively focusing on current and former educators, seeks motivated individuals in the DMV (DC/Maryland/Virginia) to become highly skilled real estate salespeople.
